Slow travel is all about travelling in a very conscious, and mindful way.
Slow travel is the contrary to conventional holidays where one ofter aims to visit as many places as possible in a given period of time. This sort of sightseeing is not the focus for our Provence travel i tineraries. It is about haveing an authentic experiences, real local encounters and time for truly absorbing the environment and the vibe of Provence.

Many things that make Provence so fairytale-like require time. To wander around aimlessly, strolling through villages, hiking in nature, or having lunch in a local bistro and observes life on the streets.

Therefore slow travel is the ideal way to experience Provence. Without tight planning and with plenty of time to immerse oneself in the places. To engage with the places you visit and consciously allow oneself for interesting detours.

A package holiday ensures that you visit all the tourist hotspots, often in a relatively short time. This can lead to frustration and stress due to time pressure and very tight planning.
There is simply no time to truly absorb and understand the atmosphere of a place.
